With family connections to the music industry, I've always been passionate about music even though I don't have a talent for it. Design, however, became my way of connecting with the industry. From promotional posters and marketing websites, I've worked with several bands to fulfill their design needs.
Local wedding and events cover band DownStage Live approached me requesting the creation of a marketing site to better showcase themselves. From photo galleries of events they've performed for to a list of songs in their repertoire, I worked with them to find their ideal brand of classic elegance. I selected a beautiful gold, champagne bubble background to mimic the gold they already incorporated into their brand, and a sleek sans serif font to complement the funky font of their existing logo.

This Elton John cover band has played some big local venues and with that came the need for marketing and promotion. For that, I created posters that were put up around town and used for online and social media promotion. Below are two posters for two different shows. This brand was less elegant and classic, but had more of a rock-and-roll edginess I wanted to capture with dark backgrounds and bright photos or illustrations.
I also created a marketing website for this band. You can see the live site at eltonjoe.com
